Dr. Sevim specializes in research on autoimmune diseases, including Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). At HSS, she has been closely working on the international APS registry which led to many outstanding research studies. Moreover, she is actively participating in the `Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Diseases and Overlap Registry`, investigating clinical and biological characteristics of these patients with the aim of identifying the factors that may predict clinical course. Additionally, she is involved in the creation of a clinic/registry for pregnant patients with systemic autoimmune diseases.
