What did the autoimmune registry accomplish in 2025?

As March Autoimmune Awareness Month draws to a close, the Autoimmune Registry is proud to share our 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of growth and community engagement. Our registry has expanded to over 5,000 registrants and connected with over 20 patient advocacy groups through our Autoimmune Registry Network.

A large majority of our registrants are women, with 88% identifying as female and 11% as male. Most of our registrants are between the ages of 40 to 70, while a significant portion (20%) of our registrants are under the age of 40. Moreover, 53% of our registrants have 2 or more comorbid autoimmune diseases.

In 2025, we've also rolled out a new set of surveys. We now have diagnostic and treatment surveys for over 100 individual autoimmune diseases. Once we collect enough data, we will be generating anonymous statistics on the family history and financial impact of autoimmune diseases, as well as disease-specific insights on the diagnostic process and long-term outcomes.

Log into your account now to take our new surveys!

  • Family History Health Survey:helpus understand the connection between genetics and autoimmunity.

  • Financial Impact Survey: help us understand the overall financial impact to patients and advocate for greater economic support.

  • Diagnostic Survey for each autoimmune diagnosis: help us better understand patients’ diagnostic process and identify pain points.

  • Treatment, Medication, and Care Survey for each autoimmune diagnosis: help us collect longitudinal data on disease outcomes and the effectiveness of different treatments.

Your contribution is crucial to advancing our understanding of autoimmune diseases. The more data we collect, the more accurately our statistics will reflect the diverse experiences of the autoimmune community. Help us spread the word and invite your family and friends to take the surveys.
