Valor Study for dermatomyositis patients

This study is to test whether a new pill can reduce disease burden and improve symptoms for patients with dermatomyositis.

Patients enrolled in the study will take 3 pills by mouth, once a day, for 52 weeks. Two third of the participants will receive the study drug at different dosages, while one third of participants will receive placebo pills. Your trial will be overseen by a physician, who will assess you for eligibility and provide you with checkups every 4 to 6 weeks, for a total of up to 13 visits. All study-related medications and visits are free. Travel stipends may also be available depending on the study site.

This study is for patients who are between the ages of 18 and 75 with a diagnosis of dermatomyositis and who are currently experiencing active muscle and skin disease.
